Summary Description:

This role plays a vital part in enhancing Dover Business Services' capabilities to support Dover Operating Companies (OpCos) on strategic projects and programs. The responsibilities include aligning projects with business objectives, developing detailed project plans, managing teams of system specialists, achieving project milestones, identifying issues and risks, and communicating results to stakeholders. Additional tasks may involve expanding OpCo support services and transitioning to the DBS operating model.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead project ideation and planning to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with global process standards
  • Determine project scope and objectives
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Ensure timely project delivery within scope and budget
  • Develop and manage project schedules and work plans
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for project execution
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Conduct risk management analysis
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders
  • Utilize industry best practices throughout project execution
  • Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Report to upper management as necessary
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support execution
  • Execute end-to-end system readiness activities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Financial Information Systems
-2-4 years of corporate accounting and/or financial analysis experience; experience in shared service centers or manufacturing is a plus

  • Proven experience in Project Management or continuous improvement projects
  • Strong background in end-to-end project management
  • Understanding of basic accounting treatments and financial reports
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of accounting processes and financial systems
  • Familiarity with various ERPs/systems & applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Lean six sigma certification or training
