We are looking for Analytics Engineers professionals that have several years of experience producing analytics performance reports based on data pools available to them from various sources, with ambition to further advance analytics with business intelligence using AI / Machine learning techniques. The successful candidate will be working in a highly dynamic environment, executing on mandates for continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.

As a member of the Business Intelligence team, you will work with cross-functional teams to support positive inter-departmental partnerships to automate processes around analytics, the collection and visualization of data that is important for our organizational performance.

The role requires to take big data and automate data extraction, transformation and translation into visualizations that produce business insights for management and operations.

A successful candidate should be active in programming and automation of the data manipulations as well as in the design of interactive PowerBI Dashboards and web portal for executives and operations staff. They will work with the BI team to develop, implement, maintain, and review performance data dashboards to monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into operational goals, operational statistical data (KPIs and PIs), productivity management, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives and accordingly work out suitable action plans.

You will also work on using AI/ML techniques such as LLM (Large Language Modelling) to further bring business intelligence to the data sources in place.

Qualifications

Core Competencies:

Python scripting (mandatory)PowerBI or similar (mandatory)SQL, database (mandatory)APIs: SharePoint, JIRA (an asset)Other Scripting languages (an asset)Automation experience (an asset)AI/ML experience, using Large Language Modeling (LLM) concepts (an asset)Good to strong background in data science, analytics, or software engineering (in the order of priority) with proven work experiences. Expanding a bit more on the above, Knows, understands, and can manage MS-SQL database.Knowledge to turn big and complex data to sensible executive reports through the dashboard visualization.Automation of data extraction and report creation through software development (e.g. SQL, SSIS, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft FLOW, Hadoop)Strong PowerBI / visualization dashboard developing skills.Graphical & Web Design (e.g. SharePoint)Group context – Data / Business Analytics.Independent, self-starter, team player, organized, result oriented, good leadership skills that is proactive.Broad understanding of IT technologies and business considerationsAbility to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and changing conditions working within a global organization with team members in North America, Europe and Asia.Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in cross-functional teams.Effective English communication skills (both written and oral)Good to have Lean & Agile knowledge & skillsKnowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills
