About the role
As an Application Engineer at the White & Case Global Operations Center Manila, you will play a key technical role providing overall support to Enterprise Business Applications. Your role will include the maintenance of production applications to ensure they are functioning and performing within support agreements as well as assisting where required on technical projects, new applications implementations, or major application upgrades. In this full-time position based in Makati City Metro Manila, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive efficiency and support our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for the install, upgrade, support and maintenance key systems of the Firm (Citrix Environment, SFTP, iManage, Microsoft SCSM, LexisNexis InterAction, Legal applications and ServiceNow) Support of all other Business Systems Applications and the server environments that they run on.Design, develop and maintain software applications using the latest technologies and frameworksCollaborate with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specificationsCollaborate with Application Vendors to maintain software and hardware inventory and ensure software license compliance, and coordinate service with software and hardware vendorsRequesting and coordinating vendor support Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Enterprise Applications hosted on Windows Server platforms and Windows desktop platforms.Develop and maintain systems documentation and administrative guidesStay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance our technology stackWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field3+ years of experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar software development roleExperience with the preparation, testing, and deployment of applications in a distributed Citrix environment including MS Office Suite, Adobe, and other client applicationsExperience configuring applications in a Microsoft Network –familiar with Active Directory domain services, structures/objects, security/trustsExperience with troubleshooting client and server side application issues in a MS environment.Experience with configuring Windows Desktops Registry settings.Experience with MS SQL Server (Installations, patching, Administrative tasks)Experience with MS Windows Server and Workstation (Installations, Patching, Admin tasks)Experience with Citrix AdministrationStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teamsAble to work on Hybrid work set-up and Rotating scheduleWhat we offer
