JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager with advanced technical expertise and outstanding communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.

As the Construction Manager, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. With your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.

Your expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
  2. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  3. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

  7. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  8. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  9. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  11. Management and coordination of all site contractors to ensure project construction activities and the execution of work are performed and that quality, schedule, cost, safety, environmental, and owner's requirements are met.
  12. Record and track project milestones to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner.
  13. Evaluate operational and technical risks at each phase of construction and ensure adequate controls are established to mitigate those risks.
  14. Provide timely and accurate incident and accident reporting as required.
  15. Manages the construction of the project taking into account integration across all trades and areas
  16. Consolidates, reviews, analyzes and monitors methodology, work plan, project budget and contract management
  17. Sets periodic overall targets or milestones for construction activities
  18. Plans and manages project resources
  19. Ensures project meets requirements and objectives both in accordance with the contractual obligations and internal goals
  20. Develops overall construction implementation plan and prepares the project schedule
  21. Monitors and manages the project schedule
  22. Monitors project costs against project budget
  23. Identifies risks affecting all aspects of the project and provides risk mitigation recommendations
  24. Identifies, analyzes and manages operational issues
  25. Religiously observes the construction of the project whilst ensuring the proper implementation of the important aspects of the project such as Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget
  26. Holds meetings with the project team, subordinates, sub-contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the construction activities
  27. Prepares required construction reports as per the agreed frequency and format
  28. Provides technical advice to site team regarding job related inquiries and questions
  29. Dissemination and Communication of necessary data from all reports and data issued by various project parties
  30. Ensures that comprehensive records and project documents are properly kept and tagged for future use/reference
  31. Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  32. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil Engineer or equivalent
  33. With at least 10 years working experience, (5 years of which in a supervisory position) as a Construction Manager/Project Manager in the real estate industry.
  34. Must have extensive knowledge and experience in project management in civil works and infrastructure projects.
  35. Should possess strong leadership skills and should be able to deal effectively with employees from all levels of organization.
  36. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  37. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  38. Valid professional engineer (PE) license is REQUIRED.
  39. Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
  40. Strong Work Ethic/Good in written and verbal communications.
