Who are we looking for?

A passionate and dedicated individual who is excited to serve and yearning to interact with young people, by imparting their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values, as a facilitator. In this role, you will implement curriculum-based sessions aimed to nurture and support the development of children and young people aged two (2) years to twenty-four (24) years, together with their caregivers at selected Service Delivery Points in Caloocan. You are willing to provide your services on weekends or holidays, to enhance accessibility and availability for the participant groups. Your time and effort will directly contribute to our mission of creating lasting positive change in the lives of children and their families.

What will you do?

Facilitate and deliver learning sessions and activities to CI participants using the prescribed curricula.Monitor and document the performance of children/ young people attending the sessions.Nurture relationships with the participants (children, young people), and their families.Coordinate with CI Manila staff to support effective delivery of the curricula.Strictly observe confidentiality and strong ethics to all participant data and informationComply with CI Manila's policies, safety and security protocols, and child safeguarding norms and guidelines.Be non-discriminatory and respectful in relating with primary participants, i.e., children/young people and their families, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders. Service Accountabilities:

1. Deliver engaging and interactive sessions to children, young people, and caregivers:

Review the lesson guide and prepare materials needed per session for a group of 30 participants. Facilitate activities for each session, per week. Adjust the activities based on the needs and context of participants. 2. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants aligned with CIM safeguarding policy and principles: Ensure the learning environment is safe for the children and young people to participate. Hoster a supportive and good working relationship with children and young people. 3. Collaborate with other facilitators and agency staff: Participate in the planning and implementation of curriculum delivery activities with other facilitators, field officers, and program leads. Communicate with the field officers regarding the facilitation schedule. Participate in reflection and review meetings. 4. Participate in ongoing training and development: Complete training of facilitators as well as follow-up training offered by CI Manila. Participate in coaching sessions with field staff or program leads. Qualifications:At least a high school graduate and over 18 years old.Can communicate in English and Filipino.No criminal record.Must demonstrate kindness, humility, patience, respect for others, and justice.Experience in working with children, young people, and caregivers is an advantage.Experience as a teacher or facilitator is an advantage. Minimum Commitment: Delivery of at least 40 sessions per year, averaging one day a week over 40 weeks. The total sessions and the number of days would be individually discussed and agreed on depending on the need and agreement from both parties.
