Philippines Monroe Consulting Group Full time

The role will play an essential part in ensuring accurate and timely balance sheet accounting and reconciliation processes within the R2R Tower.

Responsibilities include overseeing the team to execute tasks accurately, ensuring financial transaction integrity, reviewing outputs for solutions, managing exceptions, and reporting actions to the Tower lead.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and review accounting processes related to the balance sheet, including Fixed assets, inter-company transactions, and proper recording of entries between statutory entities.
  • Identify corrective actions for discrepancies, resolve them promptly, and escalate any aging items for management attention.
  • Verify fixed asset physical integrity, conduct regular reviews, and propose write-offs for obsolete or missing assets.
  • Test and validate fixed asset and inter-company controls as per risk and control matrix.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, collaborate with COE- Controlling, and ensure correct accounting of assets under construction.
  • Work with COE - Controlling to apply accurate depreciation rates.
  • Collaborate with R2R Tower lead to establish performance targets and KPIs.
  • Submit reviewed balance sheet reconciliation reports to senior management.
  • Review and set SLA and OLAs with COE - Controlling, taking corrective action if necessary.
  • Stay updated on internal, legislative, and industry best practices for professional development.
  • Implement required changes promptly and support audit activities with necessary documentation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary education qualifications or equivalent.
  • CPA or global equivalent (ACCA).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in R2R accounting/GL role in Shared Service Centre or Global Finance.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt certification preferred.
  • Experience in managing complex global businesses is advantageous.
