Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitors the compliance of the project to applicable standards, ensures that industry codes and practices are adhered, quality assurance policies & ITPs are followed, and performance standard are met.
  2. Monitors/inspects the various installation of electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards.
  3. Conducts technical inspections on delivered materials, quality control inspections of workmanships and prepares construction punch lists or NCRs on behalf of the Owner before handover of system for commissioning.
  4. Conducts inspections and witness tests/ calibrations of electrical systems and devices to ensure functionality and reliability in accordance with the established standards. Resolves issues that arises during inspections and testing.
  5. Coordinates the electrical works with other disciplines (i.e. Mechanical, Civil, ECE etc.) to ensure that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
  6. Reviews contracts and contract deliverables, test methods, procedures and guides the Jr. Project Engineer in monitoring the implementation of such.
  7. Documents the progress of activities and submits progress updates/reports to the Lead Electrical Engr.
  8. Performs quality control checks throughout all stages of schedule to ensure that deadline are met. Collaborates with Lead Electrical Engr. and other concerned Team to ensure project timeline is delivered.
  9. Gathers all as-built drawings, plans, manuals, parts list/inventory, equipment lists, test reports, certificates, permits, licenses, and all other relevant documentations for turn-over to Project Document Controller.
  10. Observes Company's quality, environment, security, safety and health programs.
  11. Performs other duties maybe assigned from time to time in relation to the job function. Experience:
  12. 5+ years of experience in Electrical Construction of Power Plant Projects or Maintenance in CFB Power Plants
