What you'll do:

As an Assistant Vice President Factory Engineer (Electrical and Automation), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of operations by maintaining all premises, buildings, machinery, and equipment. You will be tasked with establishing effective maintenance programmes, examining performance yields of installations, setting up systematic stock control systems, planning for long-term machinery requirements, testing new equipment, and ensuring adequate energy supplies. Your role will be crucial in driving operational efficiency and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

• Establish effective programmes for the maintenance and repair of all factory machinery, equipment, buildings, and premises at minimum cost.
• Examine the performance yield of factory installations, equipment, and transport facilities; analyse breakdowns, repair data, and propose measures to reduce frequency and extent of breakdowns.
• Set systematic stock control and purchase order systems at technical and project stores to ensure continuous production operation at low costs.
• Work out plans for machinery and equipment necessary to cope with long-term requirements.
• Test new equipment/machinery to ensure its proper condition and ability to work at rated capacity.
• Ensure that the factory is provided with the needed energy supplies such as electricity, power, water, gas, refrigeration, compressed air etc.
