Laboratory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform conductive treatment washing process
• Preparation of pre-mix bulk chemical solution as needed, make sure to follow SOP's (set chemical solution level)
• Can provide innovative idea to improve process or work simplification
• Assortment of different fabric items to be loaded into the machine
• Ensure that all loaded items are done so in accordance to the process protocol
• Make sure that appropriate safety measures are taken into account at every step of the production
• Provide support in washing, drying and inspection, it includes untangling of conductive fabric prior to inspection
• Ensure that any equipment or tool malfunction is immediately reported
• Ensure proper labeling of finished items and ensure that they are packaged properly
• Ensure all materials(fabric, chemical) and equipment are available prior to each shift.
• Maintain record for all non-conductive fabric quantity
• Maintain record for all conductive fabric customers sample request
• Ensures that all laboratory instruments are calibrated and the colour standards (NPS, Bulk lot) are maintained
• Advocate safety practices to the rest of the production staff
• Keeps the laboratory and production tidy at all times.
• Meet KPI objectives
• Performs other related jobs/tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or any equivalent degree
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledgeable in chemical characteristics
• Must be open-minded, logical thinker, possess positive attitude, and quick learner
