The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of chilled water plants and HVAC systems. Following project completion, the role will transition into an On-site Operational Supervisor, focusing on plant operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team for facilities management activities
  • Advise and lead technical investigations for rectification works
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification works or ad-hoc jobs
  • Investigate, analyze and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively
  • Prepare technical reports on breakdowns and proposals
  • Carry out ad-hoc projects, assignments, maintenance or repair work as assigned
  • Ensure complete documentation of procedures and maintenance works
  • Plan and develop technical officer skills
  • Assist the Site Manager in liaising with clients for all works
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Analyze power consumption
  • Ensure zero accidents
  • Follow a strict preventive maintenance schedule
  • Take preventive measures in case of technical problems
  • Plan and manage operation tasks of his shift
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the units
  • Submit monthly summary of staff overtime
  • Plan and manage the supply of necessary consumables, spare-parts and OEM visits
  • Follow Engie ethics, health and safety rules
  • Follow established policies and client house rules
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors and fellow employees
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as determined
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of operational and project experience in chilled water HVAC systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
  • Proven experience in construction project supervision
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Commitment to safety and thorough understanding of safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and operational manuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Safety certification for supervising construction in Philippines
