Join our team as a Cash Operations Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile cash and check collections submitted by the C&C Department.
- Prepare deposit slips for cash and check collections and deposit the following day based on allocation.
- Process journal entries for cash in transit and bank transactions.
- Provide weekly reports on check releases, trust receipts, and loans maturity.
- Prepare checks based on approved accounts payable vouchers from accounting.
- Coordinate with employees for reimbursement and prepare deposit slips as needed.
- Ensure all checks have proper supporting documents and endorsements.
- Provide accounting reports for monthly bank reconciliation.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Cash Operations Supervisor.
- Education: Graduate of any 4-year course in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Experience in the Treasury Department is an advantage, but not required.
- Skills and Competencies:
- High attention to detail
- Highly organized in managing financial documents
- Good team player with effective communication skills
