Specialist, Health Services Job Title: Specialist, Health Services Company: Insight Philippines

The Specialist, Health Services will be responsible for leading Insight's Health Services Functions for Insight Philippines. This role will oversee the health and wellness of teammates, ensuring they are at their optimum health through the implementation of wellness programs and building and maintaining relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for Manila Health Services.
  • Lead the standard Health Initiatives of Insight PH as indicated in the Annual Health and Wellness Calendar.
  • Develop and implement relevant and efficient Health & Wellness programs to promote and sustain a healthy lifestyle and optimize productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure timely reporting to respective government agencies for compliance.
Health Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Lead the implementation of process and policy improvements relating to the Health and Safety in close coordination with the Health and Safety Committee and Director, Human Resources.
  • Oversee and drive Insight's Health and Wellness partnerships and initiatives.
  • Function as Insight's Safety Officer, Mental Health First Aider, and First Aider during medical emergencies.
  • Conduct Health and Safety Orientations and trainings.
  • Monitor and ensure completion of the Mandatory 8 hour OSH Training for newly hired teammates.
  • Collaborate with the Fun Committee for employee engagement initiatives.
  • Draft and send communications regarding the latest health and wellness news, updates, advisories, and available perks.
  • Maintain Health and Wellness resources/page at Manila Sharepoint.
Company Initiated Benefits:
  • Liaise with the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Life Insurance, and Personal Accident Insurance for benefits enrollment, deletion, updates, utilization, claims, processing vendor payments, and all other related activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for company-initiated benefits from onboarding to completion/renewal.
  • Process and submit HMO deductions to payroll on or before the payroll cutoff date.
  • Prepare and submit HMO VAT exemption applications.
  • Validate and analyze HMO/EAP utilization reports and create programs to manage/maintain low utilization rates.

Clinic Operations:

  • Maintain and update Employee Health 201 Files and ensure confidentiality at all times to avoid any Information Security breach.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with other departments to ensure confidence and enhance relationships within Insight.
  • Represent Insight in a professional and business-like manner and communicate effectively with Insight associates and their customers.
  • Design and implement clinic processes to ensure smooth operation.
  • Process and approve medical and clinic requisition requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from a four-year College or University.
  • A Board Licensure Passed Registered Nurse with valid PCR Identification card.
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience, including demonstrated success in leading the health services or clinic function for a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.
  • Broad experience and expertise in primary care and triage for the corporate setting.
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Philippine setting.
  • Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong commitment to company values and operating principles.
