The job is based in Baguio City, Philippines.

Job summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible to provide corrective action follow up along with detailed analysis on the operational problems encountered:

  • Support customer's FY24 new handler investments
2. Support FY24 potential Handler Projects
3. Warranty support for 43 new M4841 handlers
4. 3P (Outsource) management for low level and routine activity support
5. Defend against "grey" T&M parts
6. Resource readiness to support potential future handler roadmap plans
7. Sustain and defend our M4841 install base

Key job responsibilities include:

CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

  • Analyse, feedback and perform corrective actions on abnormal issues on (product, process, equipment).
  • Provide corrective action follow up along with detailed analysis on the operational problems encountered.
  • Plan & execute enhancement activities to improve equipment performance.

OPERATION EFFICIENCY:

  • Participate in quality, productivity, yield and maintenance cost improvement programs.
  • Active participant in multidisciplinary teams for assign project/tasks if needed.
  • Active participant in a project/problem solving team with strong teamwork skills.
  • Prepares complete project / report and escalation documents.
  • Self-Starter and highly motivated to be high level trained FSE
  • Work towards objectives established by Advantest operation.

LEADERSHIP:

  • Lead to achieve results or share expertise / experience as technical specialist with his colleagues and technical staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics)
  • Required Skill(s): Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, Machine Repair and Troubleshooting, Knowledge on M4841 handlers and 93K testers and similar Advantest equipment is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Test system setup (Tester + Handler test cell) and how they function
  • Working knowledge of WIN OS and Office applications
  • Pro-active, can work with less supervision, independent and team player.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Has the ability to data analyse and draft presentation using office applications.
  • Preferably know how to drive.
