About Your Role (Job Duties & Responsibilities)

The Auditor is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the organization's financial operations, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations. The role involves conducting audits, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

  1. Conduct Audits:
  2. Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  3. Perform risk assessments on key business activities and processes.
  4. Evaluate Internal Controls:
  5. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
  6. Identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
  7. Compliance Monitoring:
  8. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  9. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization.
  10. Report Preparation:
  11. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  12. Present audit results to senior management and stakeholders.
  13. Follow-up:
  14. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
  15. Perform follow-up audits to ensure issues are addressed.
  16. Data Analysis:
  17. Analyze financial statements and data to identify discrepancies or areas of concern.
  18. Utilize data analytics tools to enhance audit processes.
  19. Collaboration:
  20. Work closely with various departments to understand their processes and risks.
  21. Provide guidance and support on risk management and control issues.
  22. Professional Development:
  23. Maintain and improve professional knowledge through continuous education and training.
  24. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in auditing.

    About You (Skills & Qualifications)

    Education:

  25. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  26. Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or similar is highly preferred.

    Experience:

  27. Atleast 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field.
  28. Experience with audit software and data analysis tools is a plus.

    Skills:

  29. Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  30. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  31. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  32. Familiarity with ERP systems and audit management software, SAP and Odoo.
  33. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  34. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  35. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  36. Good organizational and time management skills.
