Job Summary
The Purchaser is responsible for timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet customer needs and maintain stock levels within approved guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase assigned materials and services through sourcing, canvassing, bidding, and negotiation.
- Conduct value analysis, make-or-buy studies, and explore alternative options to evaluate bids and recommend the best value.
- Administer orders and logistics with suppliers and requisitioners, including replacement of rejects, warranty claims, and order changes.
- Process imports from foreign sources and monitor market trends to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply continuity.
- Develop new supply sources and alternative materials through supply research and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of SAP and purchasing experience.
- Willingness to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
