Job Description:
Organize and update financial records as needed (digital) for tax purposesDeliver operating efficiencies through Xero and business systemsResponsible for tracking and following up on accounts receivableReconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account informationReconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare management accountsStrong knowledge and experience in Australian tax compliancePreparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), Installment Activity Statements (IAS) & client payroll tax reportsGeneral bookkeeping procedures and other ad hoc tasks as requiredStay informed on industry developments and changes in regulationsJob Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or any relevant field; CPA or any relevant certification preferred3+ years' experience in general accounting and taxation or similar role in the Australian accounting industryStrong knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practicesDemonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements of companies, trusts, partnershipsHigh competence in preparing and finalising company, trust & partnership tax returnsWorking knowledge of MS Office and various accounting software packages - 360, Xero, Xero TaxStrong attention to detail, time management, and accounting administration skillsStrong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal English business communication skillsAdditional Job Details:
