We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Officer to join our team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Improvement, Analytical and Critical Thinking

Critically assess our existing processes, analyze corresponding data, identify problems or potential for improvement, redesign the processes/optimize them and prepare corresponding business requirements for implementation by the execution team.Analyzes data on Full Time Employee (FTE), cycle time, overtime utilization, volume and any other data relevant to the value stream and/or process by performing value stream and statistical analysis to determine gaps that critically affects the performance of the value stream and/or process and prioritize for review.Assesses in detail the current value stream and/or process by determining issues or problems contributing inefficiencies using Lean and Design Thinking tools to determine viable solutions and courses of actions addressing the root cause/s.Identify and execute CI initiatives that advance priorities of the Finance/ Compliance teams; Understand emerging business pain points and devise improvement plans.Effective Communication SkillsReports the overall progress of the assigned Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by providing documentation substantiating the success or progress of the initiative.Facilitates Value Stream Analysis and Lean Event (Rapid Improvement Workshop, Mini-Lean event, sessions) workshops to a cross-functional group where the value stream or process is reviewed using Lean and People Centered Design (Design Thinking) methods or tools to elicit and/or identify gaps, issues or problems and determine viable tactical solutions that will eliminate these process wastes.Planning and OrganizingMakes a feasible plan by defining value stream transformation initiatives' scope and determining what resources are available, estimating time and financial commitment, as well as how to monitor and report the project's progress to achieve the goals and objectives of the project and align with the organization's overall business strategy.Defines schedule or plan and accurately estimates the tasks duration of the CI initiatives by summarizing the work break down structure of activities in completing the initiative to develop and maintain a realistic schedule.Maintains process governance by reviewing relevant policies and processes across the Finance/ Compliance organization (identification of control gaps, inefficiencies, etc.); Ensure the Finance/ Compliance procedures, reports etc. are periodically being reviewed/ updated to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.Help capture new knowledge with the usage of a knowledge management tool; Encouraging a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among departments and teams; Ensure that the right knowledge goes to the right people, and this information is promptly applied to business activities.Mitigates issues and risks considered as potential problems in the execution of the initiatives by identifying and escalating issues that require immediate action to Sponsor or key stakeholder that has authority in the overall decision. This is to ensure that the project does not deviate to its objectives, time plan, and budget.Documents any critical changes in the agreed original plan as 'Change Requests', assesses and provides appropriate recommendations to ensure no deviation in the overall goal or objective of the value stream transformation and/or lean event projects.Researches, trains and advocates novel CI methodologies and tools to ensure the latest trends and developments are considered as part of Finance/ Compliance group transformation progress. QUALIFICATIONS:Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree5-7 years of experience in operational excellenceLean Six Sigma Certification is preferred but not requiredMust be willing to work in Makati at a hybrid work arrangementMust be amenable to a one-year contract.
