Overview

Help price and support for Lender Placed Insurance products like Mortgage Hazard, Auto Collateral Protection, Blanket (VSI), and Flood Insurance as part of the Warranty and Lenders Solutions team. Additionally, this role involves providing support for various Debt Protection and Service Contract products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with third-party administrators and agents.

The Underwriting Assistant & Data Specialist will assist underwriters and actuaries in analyzing insurance applicants. Tasks involve reviewing, organizing, and integrating applicant data, identifying missing information, preparing analyses, and creating pricing documents. The individual will collaborate with underwriters on post-binding documentation, understand product/service information, and execute risk analysis effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, clean, and organize data from accounts requesting insurance
  • Analyze information from insureds and prospects, identify anomalies, and draft pricing models
  • Ensure timely and accurate underwriting adherence to guidelines, service standards, and correspond with agents/administrators
  • Support underwriters with daily tasks, manage account portfolio volume and workflow, and maintain clear documentation
  • Liaise with other departments like Underwriting Operations, Policy Issuance, Claims, Actuary, Compliance, and Accounting
