Director of Learning & Development
OBJECTIVE
Responsible for activities involved in the strategic design, preparation, delivery and needs
assessment of development programs for company employees. Identifies appropriate initiatives
that need to be changed or implemented.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Evaluates need and develops new training materials and/or revises current material to ensure
- Evaluates training methodology
- Designs and develops in-house programs
- Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses
- Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material
- Conducts skills, technical, management and staff development training courses within
- Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years in training or organizational learning & development
- COMPETENCIES Employee Data Management Leadership Development Organizational Change Management Organizational Development (OD) Performance Management Programs Training Needs Analysis Training Program Development Training & eLearning Software Ability to work with moderate supervision
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: No
- WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment.
