REPORTS TO: Director of Learning & Development

OBJECTIVE

Responsible for activities involved in the strategic design, preparation, delivery and needs

assessment of development programs for company employees. Identifies appropriate initiatives

that need to be changed or implemented.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Evaluates need and develops new training materials and/or revises current material to ensure

business unit or group training needs are met

* Evaluates training methodology

* Designs and develops in-house programs

* Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses

* Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material

* Conducts skills, technical, management and staff development training courses within

business units or groups

* Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years in training or organizational learning & development

-WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.

-POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a Full Time position. Days and hours of work are (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
