Reporting to: Department Manager

POSITION: PACKER MECHANIC

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Identifying and resolving machine malfunctions and inefficiencies while ensuring availability of essential spare parts.
  • Standing in for operating teams by operating specific machinery up to production standards.
  • Introducing technical enhancements to machinery and equipment to uphold and enhance operational efficiency and product standards.
  • Contributing to the upkeep of all production and ancillary equipment, maintaining records, and constantly refining maintenance protocols and methodologies.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Holder of a degree in engineering or a related field. A relevant vocational course will also be considered.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing machinery faults within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experienced in the manufacturing industry, particularly in food, beverage, or tobacco sectors.
  • Skilled in operating machinery such as Sassib 3000 and Foke 350.
  • Capable of effective communication in English.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and development.
  • Flexible to work in rotating shifts.
