The Fine Print: Key Duties and Responsibilities

Review Federal and State forms and disclosures to validate information and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Assist with the development of Policies, Procedures, and Companywide Training.Provide guidance to business team members related to compliance inquiries, scenarios, and/or loan-level situations.Research and interpret state and federal laws and regulations, with a strong focus on state law compliance.Assist with state examinations, internal audits, and other due diligence requests.Conduct thorough reviews of disclosures, research subjects, processes, etc., and rectify any discrepancies identified.Demonstrate an understanding of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).Develop and maintain ample knowledge of state-specific mortgage licensing rules and regulations.Ensure compliance with state requirements for various licensing types, including mortgage lender, mortgage servicer, branch, and loan originator licenses.Understand state annual reporting and franchise tax reporting requirements.Collaborate effectively with team members and other teams.Perform additional responsibilities as neededWhat It Takes to Be the Best:High School Diploma or GED required.5+ years of Mortgage Originations Compliance experience required.Financial Services industry experience preferred.Verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of systems including Microsoft Office applications, Encompass, and other software products used in support of the business.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracyThe Cream of the Crop:Day 1 HMO coverageCompetitive PackagePermanent WFH arrangementUnlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organizationStandard government and Emapta benefitsTotal of 20 annual leaves to be used on your own discretionFun engagement activities for employeesMentorship and exposure to global leaders and teamsUpskilling through Emapta AcademyCareer growth opportunitiesDiverse and supportive work environmentA Legacy of Trust: Discover the Mission and Impact of a Financial Services Leader
