Overview
The Associate Tech Support role provides technical support for endpoint devices, including
desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. This position involves assisting with activations,
deployments, and relocations of devices, as well as troubleshooting and support tasks.
Key responsibilities
● Assist in activating new endpoint devices, following Cloudstaff procedures and ensuring they
are ready for user deployment.
● Support the deployment of endpoint devices by helping with hardware setup, software
installation, and ensuring network connectivity.
● Aid in the physical relocation of endpoint devices, including disassembly, transportation, and
reinstallation at new locations.
● Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues
related to endpoint devices.
● Help users with basic technical issues and guide them in using endpoint devices.
● Keep simple records of deployments, relocations, and support activities.
● Assist in managing the inventory of endpoint devices, including tracking deployments and
returns.
Qualifications
● Some exposure to IT support or related coursework (internships, part-time work, etc.).
● Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common desktop
software.
● Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
● Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
