Role: Reporting and Analytics Analyst

Equinix's Global Channel Program Team is searching for a skilled Reporting & Analytics Analyst. In this position, you will analyze data trends, enhance processes, and deliver valuable insights to enhance efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate will offer guidance to internal stakeholders, interpret data, and create comprehensive reports with visual representations and actionable conclusions. Collaborating with teammates to establish effective analysis procedures is a key aspect of this role.


Responsibilities

Data Analysis

  • Explore data across various sources to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop solutions that align with business needs
  • Create advanced analyses, utilizing insights to generate detailed reports with visualizations
  • Utilize Tableau for data visualization, including conceptualization, creation, and upkeep
  • Interpret data for clients, assist in presenting findings, and address inquiries


Scheduled Reports

  • Extract necessary data and generate predefined reports as per schedules
  • Develop IT strategies based on customer goals and technical landscape
  • Suggest data exploration opportunities, explain insights to stakeholders, and validate reports
  • Deliver reports to partners and offer clarifications effectively

Relationship Management/ Team Collaboration

  • Engage with various teams to understand Equinix data sources, processes, and systems
  • Demonstrate Equinix values in all interactions, including with peers, managers, leaders, and the wider team

Qualifications

  • Preferred 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related field
  • Proven track record in leading and enhancing Reporting & Analytics teams
  • Analytical thinker who can apply theoretical concepts to practical business challenges
  • Proficient in visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Strong data and reporting skills, including data model design and data quality controls
  • Advanced knowledge of Databases/SQL, Python, and similar languages
