Solar Engineer:

The Solar Engineer ensure each assigned project is executed based on the project guidelines while ensuring that design specifications, quality standards, proper testing and commissioning methods and compliance requirements are followed as well as aiding the Project Manager in proper documentation following the company requirements from the start of the project until handover.

Job Description:

Creating project timelines, project-related documentation and during execution of solar construction projects.Manage client engagements during the implementation phase and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and other project stakeholders.Manage manpower and contractor work progress and performance.Ensure projects are executed according to the approved timeline, budget, safety, and technical standards, in coordination with other departmentsCreate a comprehensive project mobilization plan for the assigned project Oversee actual works and ensure all site activities are compliant with the design specifications set out by the engineering/design department. Maintain accurate project documentation. Secure required documents for project completion and acceptance for the closure of the project. Conduct project evaluation to identify areas that need improvements and implement changes for a future project Key Performance IndicatorAccurate Project Planning after Project turnover from the Business Development Department.Produce a detailed timeline, in coordination with the whole project stakeholders.Project Safety Performance – maintain a zero accident in all projectsDelivery of the implementation team of the project based on the approved timeline and budget.Overall Project Evaluation for each project Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/ Licensed Electrical EngineerExperienced in Renewable Energy as a Solar Site EngineerWith COSH / Safety Training is a plusKnowledgeable on the Solar Industry is a mustStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in constructionExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesMust be a team leader for the whole construction teamWith Project Management training seminarWith Project management ExperienceKnowledgeable with MS Project / Smartsheet apps
