Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines Planate Management Group Full time

Job Description: Perform daily accounting operations, manage policies and procedures, create financial models, and maximize revenue and profits for the US Department of Defense and other US federal agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report validation (Inventory, Sales Report, Cash Collections, Purchases)
  • Payroll Processing including related government remittances, vacation/sick leave monitoring, and payout/payslip
  • Accounts Payable Processing
  • Government Reporting
  • Reconciles balance sheet accounts for proper adjusting entries
  • Review and analyze invoices and other financial documents
  • Perform bank reconciliation and process business transactions
  • Prepare daily financial reports and participates in weekly team meetings with executives
  • Work collaboratively with other accounting officers within the organization
  • Analyze, initiate, and implement best practices and procedures in the accounting department
  • Establish accounting controls to generate various financial reports
  • Analyze financial performance and day-to-day tasks
  • Establish financial controls to reduce costs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Business Management, Preferably a CPA
  • At least 5 years experience in a related field
  • Good understanding of Financial and Accounting Principles
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Results-oriented
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Accounting Software System
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong English communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an attention to detail
