IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT team and oversee the management of all IT services, including desktop, systems, network, and telephony.

Main Responsibilities:
  • IT Service Management:
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing.
    • Create and implement IT policies.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations.
    • Meet with managers and directors to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
    • Hire and manage IT personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications, networks, and information systems.
    • Provide training and coaching to IT staff as needed and ensure all procedures are being followed.
  • IT Team Leadership:
    • Lead the IT team in monitoring and maintaining all available technologies to ensure maximum accessibility.
    • Troubleshoot all technology issues.
    • Maintain a log of required repairs and maintenance.
    • Make recommendations about the purchase of technology resources.
    • Research current and potential resources and services.
    • Monitor the security of all technology.
    • Advise staff of security breaches and/or changes in password or security status.
    • Ensure the installation of lockout programs.
  • New LOB and Expansions Implementations/Deployment:
    • Provide plans and design for network, systems, electrical, and technical aspects of facilities.
    • Lead the implementation/deployment of network, systems, electrical infrastructure, and technical aspects of facilities.
  • Personnel Management:
    • Conduct staff meetings.
    • Ensure necessary tools are provided for all colleagues to improve IT service.
    • Provide leadership for management initiatives to develop good communication among team members to drive performance.
    • Encourage the giving of feedback to fuel performance.
    • Prepare and conduct performance reviews.
    • Ensure professional development for all team members (provide training, share best practices, and transmit knowledge).
    • Ensure best practices documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in computer-related technology or equivalent experience in management information systems.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Skills and Experiences:
  • Active Directory.
  • Computer networking (VLans, Firewall, VPN).
  • Telephony systems.
  • Endpoint security.
  • Group policies.
  • Related experience in BPO environment is required.
Competencies:
  • Project management.
