Work you'll do

As a crucial member of our team, you will be working on the challenges of moving client's applications and datacenter to the Cloud, automate as much as we can and at the same time fulfill the expectations of our clients that applications are always available, flawlessly and seamlessly working. You're qualified and experienced in all things Cloud offers and want to stay at the forefront of distributed computing. You will share your expertise with about 100+ other colleagues in the Cloud Engineering team that is part of Deloitte Consulting. Our team focuses on building our own multi-capability engineering team.

We support our clients in their (cloud) strategy, the solution to their dreams and we build the future together with them. This requires people with engineering ingenuity in very different ways. Enough about us, let's talk about you

If you are someone with:

  • At least 5 years' DevOps experience, ideally gained in a consulting / agency environment with tier one clients.
  • Experience owning the design, build and deployment of AWS Cloud platforms.
  • Good understanding of Web Services, API, Rest or RPC protocols.
  • Hands-on in delivering projects using modern software development/scripting techniques such as Java, .NET, PHP, Perl, Ruby and Python.
  • Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
  • Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps principles, CI/CD, automation etc.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

  • Serverless Developments (Lambda)
  • NodeJS API design/development
  • Terraform
  • Gitlab CI
  • Cloud Formation
  • Docker
  • Salesforce Integration and Boomi Integration are a plus.
