The CRM Solutions DevOps Engineer will join the CRM Solutions function within Customer Solutions Team working alongside existing support, project and development teams. The role covers in-depth investigation, validation, application, and maintenance of deployment solutions best practices across the CRM tech suite to accelerate our route to delivery. It covers the full cycle of deployment from development, testing, to actual deployment and continuous improvement.

What will you do in this role?

This role will work closely with the CRM Solutions Lead who will act as the main support of active service and deployment implementation, including any additional maintenance to our live applications. You will work alongside our Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Administrators and other team members, including other DevOps Engineers to ensure proper implementation of deployment best practices and agile principles and strategically aligned.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer working under the supervision of the CRM Solutions Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate and plan CRM release schedules with project teams, QA, and other departments.
  • Create Jira release tickets for monitoring deployments.
  • Utilize Salesforce, CRM platforms, APIs, web hooks, AWS, Jenkins, Git, and other infrastructure tools for deployment functions.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams for troubleshooting and documenting data models.
  • Improve continuous integration and deployment processes across teams.
  • Work independently to identify infrastructure solutions, promote standards-based architectures, and conduct security assessments.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • 2 - 5 years AWS experience in creating, building and supporting cloud based systems.
  • Knowledge in Git management, tooling and other deployment essentials (Jenkins, GitHub)
  • Strong Linux knowledge is required
  • Not essential but a strong knowledge of Salesforce Development and/or Architecture would be an advantage
  • Not essential but knowledge in integrating Salesforce to various platforms/technologies would be an advantage
