Primary Purpose of the Position

As a Staff Engineer (Electrical), you will be responsible to designs electrical systems by developing and testing components, on the other hand, if assigned on site - As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

  2. Perform different engineering tasks with the use of engineering software and equipment such as:
  3. Designing, implementing and improving electrical equipment or systems.
  4. Preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.
  5. Perform calculations to establish the land, construction, manufacturing or installation specifications.
  6. Ensure that installation and operations comply with standards and customer requirements.
  7. Ensure that electrical engineering practices comply with all applicable codes.
  8. Provide technical information to customers, engineers and other relevant parties to discuss engineering projects.
  9. Act as liaison between project managers, site engineers and construction project clients.
  10. Manage submittal logs and coordinate submittal drawings with subcontractors.
  11. Record data and write reports about existing electrical engineering projects or tasks including doing SLD and related electrical plan.
  12. Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  13. Assist in estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation. (PERT CPM, Gantt Chart, Manpower Equipment Schedule)
  14. Maintain electrical equipment and systems.
  15. Coordinate with project managers/engineers to ensure proper delivery of electrification projects.
  16. Provide guidance to other engineers and electrification project teams
  17. Prepare reports as required.
  18. Ensure compliance of electrical engineering practices with applicable codes and standards.
  19. Work closely with the project engineer to ensure timelines are followed and project goals are achieved.
  20. Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
  21. Preparing detailed plans for the projects.
  22. Other engineering tasks not mentioned above which are deemed necessary for the completion of projects and activities.
  23. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (on-site)
  24. Responsible for the engineering activities from beginning to end of project.
  25. Meet with clients to interpret their need and requirements and determine project specification.
  26. Collaborate with other engineers to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
  27. Complete actual technical specifications.
  28. Analyze and determine actual project specification.
  29. Prepare all necessary documents and reports related to engineering activities.
  30. Monitor engineering activities and deliverables.
  31. Propose preventive and corrective actions.
  32. Ensure compliance of all project engineering practices with all relevant codes, laws and regulations.
  33. Submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality standards; Project oversight.
  34. Preparing accomplishment report to head office.
  35. Documentation of all the laborer or manpower in the site.
  36. Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  37. Facilitating change request to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedules and budget.
  38. Delegate tasks to project team members.
  39. Manage resources and schedules for the whole duration of the projects.Job Specification
  40. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer or Electronic and Communication Engineering preferably with license.
  41. Proficient with Engineering tools and software
  42. Proficient with Microsoft office
  43. Knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code, National Electric Code, RA 7920 and other applicable codes related to electrical engineering.
