Qualifications

Graduate of BS AccountancyWith at least 2 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or financial planningWith basic knowledge of accounting and financial reportingWith basic knowledge of tax accountingProficient in MS Office applications and has experience in SAP Duties and Responsibilities
  1. SERVICE PRODUCT COSTING & PRICING / BUDGET-RELATED WORKS
  2. Calculate and establish standard costs and update them as necessary based on changes in actual circumstances.
  3. Based on such standard costing, develop a pricing model to support / assist the management in business dealings with company affiliates and other decision-making processes.
  4. Assist in budget preparation as well as monitoring on budget deviations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  5. Scrutinize CAPEX data, including assumptions on payback period / IRR information. 2. COST ANALYSIS & CONTROL
  6. Analyze actual cost reports and prepare periodic reports comparing standard/budgeted cost vs. actual cost.
  7. Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and establish the reasons for variances.
  8. Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements.
  9. Ensure accurate and detailed cost accounting records for decision-makers' disposition.
  10. Provide assistance in development, improvement, and maintenance of internal controls related to cost accounting such as compliance with existing polices and regulatory requirements. 3. INVENTORY / OPERATING ASSET MANAGEMENT
  11. Maintain and control inventory/asset account including periodic physical counts and reconciling differences. 4. COLLABORATION AND SUPPORT
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Purchasing, etc. to ensure cost accuracy and efficiency.
  13. Provide support for month-end and year-end financial closing processes. 5. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost accounting.
  15. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cost management and accounting.
