Seeking experienced Assistant Engineering Supervisor to oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards in production facilities.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation / Multiplast Corporation. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and overseeing the work of engineering teams, monitoring performance against production targets, and ensuring seamless operations across our production facilities.

  • Assist the Engineering Supervisor in overseeing the work of engineering teams and monitoring performance against production targets
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise on the production floor in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in engineering processes
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to engineering staff as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to engineering activities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of engineering principles, equipment, and processes
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex technical challenges
  • Solid project management and organizational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly desirable
