The Administrative Services Unit provides operational and administrative support. Tasks include managing travel, transportation, meetings, assets, inventory, registry, logistics, staff security and safety, building maintenance.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the supervision of the Administrative Services Officer and guidance of the Director, Administration and Finance, the incumbent performs the following functions:

  • Establishes and maintains contact with relevant Government agencies and Philippine diplomatic community.
  • Coordinates processes for diplomatic IDs, Philippine driver's licenses, vehicle activities, insurance claims, customs inquiries, and more.
  • Guides staff on relevant documentation and procedures.
  • Acts as a focal person for diplomatic immunities and privileges.
  • Provides security support for high-level visits/events.
  • Assists in customs and immigration processes for dignitaries.
  • Ensures updated procedures are available to staff and intranet.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation

Essential: Graduation from secondary school.

Experience

Essential: Eight years experience in government offices or international organizations with protocol duties.

Skills

Excellent understanding of government policies, WHO procedures, interpersonal and communication skills, tact, good judgment, computer proficiency, teamwork, and adaptability.

WHO Competencies

Teamwork, respecting individual differences, communication, producing results, adapting to change.

Use of Language Skills

Essential: Expertise in English.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers an attractive remuneration package starting at PHP 886,335 annually, with 30 days of leave.
