About the role:

As the Social Media Specialist at Wilbur's Total Beverage, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our community through various social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X, showcasing our wide selection of beverages, promoting events, and sharing the unique aspects of our family-owned business. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that drive traffic to our store, increase customer engagement, and foster a loyal online following. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow our social media audience, generate meaningful interactions, and contribute to our overall marketing goals. Job requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create visually appealing content (photo editing and graphic design skills are a plus)
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and tools for scheduling and managing posts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry is a plus

Nice to have experience:

  • Certification or training in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns
  • Basic photo and video editing skills
  • Experience working in a retail environment, particularly in the beverage industry

Job Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts
  • Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Promote weekly wine and beer tastings, special events, and new product arrivals
  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed
