Your role & responsibilities

GAR (Global Accounts Receivable) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cash Application Analyst to support and lead their efforts in managing daily cash applications hence you need to have extensive knowledge and ability to perform day-to-day operations while maintaining SLAs.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Monitoring and delivering on key performance metrics (cash application rates, customer experience scores, etc.), process improvements, technology adoption, and ensuring compliance & control policies are followed.
  • Solving queries related to cash applications, account reconciliation, and processing emails related to customer remittance advice, etc.
  • Ensure timely closure of payments with a high degree of accuracy work with internal teams to drive process improvements and resolve escalations and discrepancies on customer accounts.
  • Provide growth ideas for process standardization and automation through JDI/Kaizen projects.
  • Perform simple/complex reconciliations on customer payments highlight and address issues with the technical teams related to the discrepancies with the system.

About you

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting as a Major Subject.
  • Preferably with a strong cash applications background.
  • Experience working on time-critical/time-bound processes.
  • This is open for fresh graduates of a college degree.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar desktop applications.
  • Flexible to work in shifts.
  • Exemplifies traits of being a team player.
  • Has good interpersonal skills, hardworking, flexible, responsive, and detail-oriented.
  • Can work under pressure/ with deadlines.
  • With continuous improvement and a critical mindset.
  • Strong reconciliation skills.
