Job Description:

Systems Analyst (ETL, Reports, Data)

  • Conducts analysis on business and functional requirements and prepares the solution design at the systems level for medium to complex systems or modules
  • Develops and maintains, tests and implements modules according to system specifications. Identifies all possible scenarios and prepares tests for the systems under development.
  • Executes test plan during development and provides system testing, user acceptance testing and other testing support as required to ensure that the system processing reflects user requirements / designs
  • Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users
  • Provides post-implementation support for systems including analysis of production incidents
  • Develops and updates of the Permanent System Documentations and other Operations Manuals
  • Provides updates and status reports to the project manager during the course of a development and related support activities
  • In charge of a system module. Identifies areas for improvement /enhancement on existing system module or on the entire system, and on new ones being developed

Required Skills: (Identify top skills needed from the job)

  • At least 5 yrs combined experience in using SQL programming and ETL (Informatica Powercenter and/or IDMC)
  • Solid 2- 3 years of experience in any of the following AWS products: Glue, EC2 S3, Redshift, RDS
  • Experience in using Denodo is a plus but not required
  • Experience in using reporting tools, such as SAP BOBI, Quicksight
  • Experience in data management, particularly data modelling
  • Python & Scala programming experience also a plus
  • At least 2 years or more as Team Lead or Systems Analyst
  • Solid Experience in leading and managing multiple resources/developers, able to provide guidance and oversight.
  • Competent Systems Analysis and Design skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience working in cross functional environment
  • Knowledge in Source Code Control procedures
  • Knowledge/experience in Release Management practices
  • Knowledge/experience in Configuration Management practices
  • Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables

Preferred Skills but NOT required:

  • Waterfall or Agile Methodology Experience
