The Financial Manager will oversee the complete accounting function of the company, overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the accounting assistant and admin assistant. This will also include reviewing of reconciliations and processing complex transactions in Quickbooks, as well as liaising with our 3rd party accounting firm regarding BIR & other government submissions. Providing weekly and monthly financial reports for review by the Financial Director and Managing Director as well as shareholders or stakeholders.

Reviewing sales against budgets, as well as preparing budgets for future projects. This role would also require financial review of monthly accounts for discrepancies and identifying trends.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
Monitor key financial metrics and variances to ensure the organization's financial health.

  • Financial Reporting Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Cash Management Oversee cash flow and liquidity management to meet operational needs.

Manage banking relationships, including negotiating loans and lines of credit if necessary.

  • Risk Management Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.

  • Financial Strategy and Decision-Making Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making with the Chief Finance Officer.

Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Cost Control and Expense Management Monitor and control costs to optimize operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

  • Tax Planning and Compliance Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Optimize the organization's tax position through effective tax planning.

  • Financial Compliance Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.

  • Team Management Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the finance department.

  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling Build financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
  • Communication and Collaboration Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align financial strategies with overall business goals.

Communicate financial performance and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Compliance and Ethics Ensure that financial practices adhere to ethical standards and internal policies.
  • Financial Analysis and Evaluation: Conduct financial analysis of projects, investments, and financial performance to assess their viability and impact on the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From Php65,000.00 per month
