  • To ensure the company budget is prepared correctly and monitored timely; providing management with reasonable oversight of company resource utilization.

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and align operating and financial budgets for each department.
  • Coordinates with each department and monitors the actual utilization of departmental budgets.
  • Prepares company-wide P&L variance analysis to be reviewed and approved by the financial reporting head.
  • Performs market research and benchmarking for key competitors and economic factors for presentation to management.
  • Prepares management reports as approved and aligned by the financial reporting head.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE;

  • Bachelors/College Degree in Accountancy / Management Accounting / Financial Management.
  • Certificate/Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) / Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus but not required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in financial planning and/or management reporting.
  • A minimum of two (2) years managerial experience.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

B. KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent communication both oral and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of at least 2 individuals
  • Able to communicate professionally with higher levels of management.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term financial plans.
  • Good "people skills" for building relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to inform decision-making
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trends.
  • Understanding of business strategy and operations.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and modeling.
