Sales Engineer [Minerals/Process Filtration] WFH, field works
Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of precision fabrics from monofilaments for the screen printing and filtration markets.
Company's products are used in a wide variety of industries, reaching from electronics, graphics, medical, automotive, food and pharmaceutical applications to aerospace, mining & refining and architecture.
Subsidiaries and fabrications centers in 25 countries on 6 continents provide local technical service for the broad range of solutions offered by the company.
Job Objectives:
- Continuously develop the business in the defined sales region.
- Position the company strategically well for long term success.
- Build a strong brand name of company's products in assigned region
- Increase company's Sales and Market share for Mining segment in Philippine.
- Develop marketing & sales plans for the whole country.
- Actively participate in the sales and marketing activities and meetings.
- Build up and maintain good relationships to our customers and partners, based on trust, fairness and mutual understanding. Understand the specific needs of the customers
- Review, update and implement the Sales plan in co-operation with Country Manager - Philippine. Convey these plans into actions and carry them out.
- Develop and maintain price structure for the country, maintaining a good sales margin. Generate value added offerings for our Customers.
- Identify new opportunities in the country. Collect information about the markets and react accordingly. Distribute that information to company's Management if necessary.
- Constantly monitor and update the information about customer needs and competitors.
- Minimize accounts receivables; anticipate risk of loss by taking appropriate measures.
- Take leading role of marketing and sales actions (including Exhibitions) of the segments.
- Other assignment as required by the ASEAN Mineral Sales Manager, Regional Market Manager and Head of Sales-ASEAN.
- Management's reserve right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Others) or equivalent
- Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering from recognized institution would be an advantage
- Proven Sales Record with at least 5 years of Mineral sales experience
- Dynamic, pro-active work style
- Good team player, self-motivated, well-organized and result-oriented
- High degree of travelling in the region is required
- Technical understanding of Filter Media and Filtration processes, Component is an advantage
- Computer skills (MS office, Lotus Notes, ERP Infor CRM)
- Willingness to travel All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
