Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and people manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement QA strategies to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Create and review test plans, ensuring adherence throughout the project.
  • Automation Expertise: Utilize senior-level expertise in automation testing frameworks like Selenium.
  • Quality Analysis and Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to execute test plans, including automated and manual tests.
  • Test Case Validation: Ensure validation and optimization of test cases for improved software quality.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Establish and report on key quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance QA processes and efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with software releases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams and stakeholders in the Philippines and Japan.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software quality assurance with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    • Automation: Proficiency inSelenium with at least 3 years of experience.
    • Programming: Strong command of JavaandJavaScript with at least 5 years of experience.
    • Manual Testing: Expertise in manual testing with at least 10 years of experience.
    • Test Artifacts: Ability to prepare and review comprehensive test plans and reports, or review and improve existing documents.
  • Certifications: ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Tools: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, LambdaTest, Postman.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in English and Filipino; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
  • Methodologies: Experience in successfully implementing QA standards possibly in different SDLC methods (Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, Waterfall).
