Management - Area/Multi-site (Retail & Consumer Products)

The Senior Manager - Inventory Controller works closely with the Operations team to implement and oversee loss prevention strategies and initiatives to effectively catch thefts, mitigating theft risks and minimize losses for our customers and the business. The management of stocks, including strategies to ensure there's no loss and wastage of products is one of the main responsibilities of this position.

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Work with store management to ensure that customers and employees remain safe and secure.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the store, focusing on the identification and reporting of theft incidents within the Landers Superstores branches.
  • Lead investigations on suspected internal theft, external theft, or vendor fraud and provide reports to store management.
  • Lead activity on Loss under inventory, such as store, distribution center, warehouse and head office Strategy Implementation:
  • Create strategy that helps prevent loss and improves the store operations
  • Implement and oversee loss prevention strategies and initiatives to effectively catch micro market thefts, mitigating theft risks and minimize losses for our customers.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in loss prevention strategies
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures. Policy Adherence:
    • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in theft incident identification and reporting processes.
  • Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for loss prevention, physical security, or risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to loss prevention activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Training and Development:
  • Provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, security personnel and employees to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, urgency, and ambition within the loss prevention team
  • Educate employees on risk management and loss prevention activities. Record Control and Management
  • Maintain records of all security incidents and investigations.
    • Coordinate with security officer and CS office on loss incidents.
  • Send audit reports and always ensures its confidentiality.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions as appropriate.

Other Duties

  • Prepare and submit department's accomplishment report as scheduled.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

IV. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background:

  • College Graduate

Work Experience :

  • With at least 3 to 5 years People Management experience
  • With at least 5 to 7 years solid experience in the same position
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Preferred experience in retail industry but not required Knowledge
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional hours in US time zones.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in the workplace
