Team Leader; Sample Solutions Partner Manager

The Sample Solutions team is responsible for developing creative and cost-effective solutions to meet customers panel partner data needs. The Sample Solutions Partner Team Leader plays a crucial role by mentoring, training, and managing the Sample Partner team. Team Leaders focus on continuous improvement to ensure we consistently deliver timely, high-quality solutions and data to our customers and partners.

The Sample Solutions team is responsible for engaging with a wide range of Dynata teams and our global network of sample partners to recommend and onboard new sources of supply. In order to be successful, the Sample Solutions Partner Team Leader must be solution-focused, possess excellent communication skills, and be passionate about enhancing their team's performance every day. This role also requires experience working with external partners to drive incremental value and cost efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Self-starter focused on empowering their teams to be passionate about solving customer needs.
  • Develop impactful relationships with internal teams and our global partner network.
  • Excellent communicator who can also use data to drive beneficial short- and long-term partner results.
  • Negotiate costs and agreements with partners to provide the best possible mix of margin and quality.
  • Utilize organizational skills to build partner action plans, KPI's and execute those plans.
  • Partner with Finance on invoicing and with Legal on partner contracts and partner compliance
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key performance indicators related to procurement activities.
  • Lead or assist with specific Sample Solutions projects such as partner quality, cost reduction, client solutioning, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record or procurement experience

Experience Required:

Minimum of 1-2 years procurement or operations-related work experience, ideally in a market research environment. Experience in leading teams and or complex cross functional projects.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel is an advantage.
  • Procurement and negotiation experience
  • Ability to teach, mentor and grow your team members skillset and capabilities
  • Team focus and willing to go the extra mile to develop solutions for internal and external needs
  • Ability to successfully work with diverse team in a cross-departmental role.
  • Must be compulsive about data accuracy and quality.
