We are seeking an experienced IT Security Administrator responsible for evaluating, procuring, and deploying security-related products. The ideal candidate will develop and coordinate information security awareness programs and create strategies to support the company's goals. This role involves proactive risk assessment, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and managing vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate activities with other entities for the evaluation, procurement, and deployment of security-related products.Develop and coordinate information security awareness programs.Create short-term and long-range information security strategies in support of company goals.Direct a proactive risk assessment program for all new and existing systems, implementing effective controls for areas with the greatest risk.Communicate risks and recommendations to senior administration in non-technical, cost/benefit terms.Oversee ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.Assist other entities to ensure regulatory compliance, collaborating with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure full compliance.Direct periodic vulnerability scans of cloud and on-premise IT resources to manage vulnerabilities.Develop and perform information security awareness training programs and collaborate with other entities to present them.Maintain and develop the baseline, standards, and procedures of the IT security policy in line with business requirements.Evaluate security incidents, determine appropriate responses, and coordinate with senior management and the DPO when sensitive information is breached.Design and influence security-related platform key decisions and work closely with partner teams to deliver quality customer service outcomes.Stay knowledgeable about Information Technology Security Tools.Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of varied information technology experience, including computer and networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and training.At least 3 years of direct experience in information security-related duties.Professional certification (CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, etc.) is an advantage.Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL frameworks.Self-motivated and eager to learn in the IT profession.Hands-on experience with IT security tools is an advantage.Strong team player with the ability to work with people within and outside of the IT Department.Customer service-oriented.Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications.Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand business constraints.Understanding of hardware and software systems.Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information processed, stored, or accessed by the system.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and reason analytically.Capability to work with and train people with different levels of technical knowledge.Amenable to work on a hybrid work schedule arrangement.
