PROCUREMENT:

  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire direct reports to achieve their goals, targets, and KPI's and drive positive performance improvements across the team's skills and performance, aligned to the company's objectives.
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
  • Responsible in procurement process at the project site particularly requesting for quotation up to its recording in BOX and registration to ESSEDS for technical evaluation
  • Participate in supplier qualification and other informational requests to identify and develop competent suppliers.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Manage contracts and procurements with external vendors, monitoring compliance with terms, timelines, and budgets in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage negotiation of vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective and time-bound means of completing project milestones.
  • Assist in the execution of procurement plans and contractual requirements for projects; plan, organize, and procurement tasks.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  • Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
  • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  • Prepare and initiate the supplier's payment process from verification of the accuracy of its invoice and other supporting documents, and forwarding to engineer for the preparation of payment.
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with Government Regulations

CUSTOMS DOCUMENTATION:

  • Verification of the accuracy of declared shipments and compliance with customs legislation
  • Facilitate shipment status update from suppliers through Monitoring Movements from Origin to Destination.
  • Maintain registers and reports for Import and Export Operations

Co-ordinate with Transporters, Shipper & Consignee for effective deliveries and collection.
