Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Finance Excellence Partner)

As the FP&A Manager for Philippines, you play a key role in performing budgeting & controlling activities in the Diagnostics organization. You will be acting as a Deputy Finance Enterprise Partner in the commercial organization.

The Opportunity

  • Managing the budgeting, forecasting process and monthly outlook processes.
  • Balancing the resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities and provide a structured analysis of plan assumptions and performance targets and enable the business to make informed decisions.
  • Providing financial analysis, financial modeling, consultation, transparency and insights to make good business decisions and achieve business objectives. You will be acting as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy, maintaining the robust financial reporting systems, processes and financial controls.
  • Driving finance excellence & process improvement initiatives; partnering with the Supply Chain and Service Engineers to ensure completeness and accuracy of equipment master and installed base.
  • Liaising with the Roche Shared Services based in KL when required (e.g., audit support).
  • Providing structured financial evaluation on customer deals & tenders.
  • Reviewing, evaluating & identifying the risks and opportunities on customer specific pricing by providing a regular & insightful financial analysis on customer profitability.
  • Driving contract monitoring, performance and compliance in-line with Roche's business value and financial policies; Conducting monthly/quarterly reviews such as customer pricing and master data, service contracts and digital products invoicing, instrument capitalization.

Who you are

  • You hold a CPA / University degree in Accountancy, Finance or an equivalent course with experience in budgeting & forecasting preferably in the Life Sciences, Medical Device or FMCG industry;
  • You demonstrate experience to drive and shape the FP&A across the commercial business areas, with experience handling in accounting software such as SAP, with proven ability to lead with a creative mindset, very high self-awareness and for acting as a coach and mentor with strong business acumen, commercial and customer driven mindset.
  • Advanced computer literacy and high proficiency in MS Excel program, understanding of cost and internal controls is preferred due to the job nature.
