JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the retail technology industry. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering innovative technology solutions that enhance the retail experience. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To oversee the management of activities of the project delivery teams to ensure deliverables are being completed according to defined expectations (within the base-lined cost and time plan), first time to successfully deliver the contracted scope
• To identify, communicate and where necessary escalate deviations from plan to stakeholders as necessary.
• To manage and deliver projects according to the agreed schedule and resource plans, contracted deliverables and the agreed scope
• To maintain frequent and detailed communication with all members of the team to ensure clarity at all times
• To provide periodic project status reports to stakeholders and Project manager.
• To proactively manage foreseen project risks and mitigate issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions.
• Responsible for aligning the organization's goals and objectives with its business processes and technology capabilities. They work with executives and other stakeholders to identify strategic initiatives and define the roadmap for achieving them.
• Analyzes and redesigns business processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience. They create process maps, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to streamline and optimize business operations.
• Designs and redesigns organizational structures to align with the organization's goals and objectives. They analyze the existing structure, identify gaps, and recommend changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
• Aligns the organization's technology capabilities with its strategic goals and objectives. They analyze the existing technology architecture, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Works closely with executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure that the organization's strategic goals and objectives are met. They communicate effectively, build relationships, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Proficient in creating and optimizing business process models using tools.
• Skillful in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and work with retail data, analyzing trends and patterns to inform business decisions.
• Familiarity with integrating different retail systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow.
• Effective communication and collaboration with different departments such as IT, marketing, and operations to align business strategies.
• Knowledge of change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during technology implementations.
• Experience with BI tools for extracting meaningful insights from retail data.
• Understanding and managing risks associated with technology implementations and business processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with stakeholders and ensuring their needs are addressed.
• Proficient in creating clear and comprehensive documentation for business processes and requirements.
• Develop and communicate a strategic vision for aligning business and technology.
• Deep understanding of business processes, industry trends, and organizational goals.
• Ability to consider the broader enterprise context when designing solutions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and across departments.
• Able to guide and support teams through the changes introduced by new technologies and processes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience 5-7 years as a Project Manager in the retail technology industry.
• Strong understanding of retail technology trends and solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
