Job Summary Purpose:

We are looking for an Account Staff who will work in support and work under the following sections of accounting: fixed assets, payroll, payables, accounting operations, and disbursement.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be knowledgeable in computerized accounting systems (i.e. QB online)
  • Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on discrepancies with the initiating department; identify available suppliers for each requisitioned item.
  • Process requisitions into purchase orders and any resulting change orders.
  • Correspond with vendors regarding prices, product availability, and delivery.
  • Respond to inquiries from department regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and pricing information.
  • Responsible for the complete, timely, and accurate processing of Supplier Invoices, Government Agencies, Rentals & Utility billings.
  • In charge of end-to-end procurement transactions and ensuring alignment with policies and internal controls
  • Ensures all recorded transactions are with supporting documents and approved.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned to by the Accounting Head or Management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
