Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

Approximately 80% of the role will be hands-on software development work. The remaining 20% will be mentoring junior developers via technical sessions, setting high standards for software development and ensuring modern software development standards are met.

This role will closely be working with the client software engineering team as a Senior member and shall take ownership in contributing to product roadmaps, participate in backlog grooming and translating product requirement into technical specification.

Work Set-up:

  • Hybrid after 3 months - 2 days WFH, 3 days onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement features, perform BAU activities i.e., upgrade and optimize existing solutions, resolve service and incident request, perform patch verifications (approximately 80% of allocation)
  • Support junior developers work (approximately 20% of allocation)
  • Continually advance the technical system components to modern software standards, including infrastructure and DevOps, applications, microservices, and data, to ensure systems stay current
  • Drafting software and application operating procedures
  • Produce high quality code and tests for both front-end and back-end solutions
  • Take a leadership role in supporting the full life cycle of software components. This includes ensuring production issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Adherence to regulatory compliance requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

Knowledge

  • C# .Net Core / Framework
  • ASP.Net Core and ASP.Net MVC
  • Microservice architectures and API design
  • Relational databases (MSSQL) and unstructured data
  • Unit testing
  • Object-oriented design and SOLID Principles

Experience - Required

  • Proficient in C# and web application development
  • Proficient with SQL and at least one ORM library
  • 7+ years relevant software industry experience
  • 2+ years cloud experience building and deploying full stack distributed software

Experience - Preferred

  • 2+ years cloud experience building and deploying full stack distributed software, preferably on Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Proficiency in Angular or equivalent front-end technology
  • NoSQL databases
  • Working knowledge of Agile software methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices including Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Proficiency with Git and TFS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
