Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related fields
  • 5-10 years of experience in leading technical office for multi discipline as engineering lead or manager role
  • Direct experience as technical lead for project such as Tank construction and refurbishment, Gantry loading, Terminal automation system, Vapor recovery unit is an advantage
  • Fluent in the local language where he/she will be required to operate
  • Master's degree in engineering is an advantage
  • Preferably a licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating and leading the design center team in ensuring the quality and timeliness of design deliverables and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Establish and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
  • Review and evaluate design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and presentations, to verify accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project requirements. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of design outputs.
  • Assist the PDE DC PMO in collating the KPI Reports for the DC Team.
  • Develop and refine design processes, workflows, and standards to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity and streamline design operations.
  • Leverage technological tools and software to improve design workflows and deliverables.
  • Participated in project planning activities, providing input on design feasibility, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop design strategies, concepts, and solutions that align with project goals, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to address issues and ensure project success.
  • Interact with clients, understand their design requirements, and provide design consultation and guidance.
  • Encourage effective collaboration and communication within the design center team and across other departments and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular design team meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices. Encourage continuous learning and professional development among the design center team.
  • Manage resignation and turnover of the team.
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve the team's processes, guidelines, and ways of working.
  • Manages the subordinate's job performance by communicating the company or group objective, targets, monitoring progress, and appraising their results and performance.
  • Counsels, and disciplines employees in accordance with the Company's policies, rules & regulations.
  • Responsible for managing subordinate schedules and evaluating subordinate performances.

Other Details:

  • Worked schedule: Monday to Saturday /48 hrs per week
  • Additional Benefits/Entitlement apart from benefits mandated by the government (13th-month pay, 5-day Service Incentive Leave, etc.)
