SummaryRealcognita is building a next generation platform for internal and external stakeholders, making a one-stop solution for end-to-end fulfillment, inventory, ordering, payment, and scheduling. As we advance inthis area, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to help steer thedevelopment of our platform. You will play a critical role in driving our technology vision forward andensuring we execute across multiple initiatives. The candidate will collaborate globally with cross-functional teams and multiple businesses.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR equivalentyears of work experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical production-grade software
  • Deep working experience with at least one programming language (Java, PHP, Python, C++, etc.)
  • Familiarity with design and implementation of data pipelines to move, transform, and load data from source systems to data warehouses
  • Understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security best practices
  • Working knowledge of backend development, frameworks, and technologies (Laravel, Django,Flask, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of frontend development, frameworks, and technologies (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • Working knowledge with version control systems, modern CI/CD practices, testing, and migration tools for database and software
  • Understanding of security and networking principles
  • Working knowledge with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Working knowledge of integrated testing frameworks
  • Ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • As this is an office based set up, the candidates should be willing to commute or relocate near the office. (BGC Taguig, Mon to Fri)

About the JobWe are looking for an experienced software engineer. In this role you will work closely with otherengineers, users, and business leaders to plan, design, build, and ship high quality software.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, code, test, and implement scalable applications
  • Participate in the architecture of system and data flows
  • Providing help and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Writing high quality code and reviewing the work of your peers
  • Operating critical production services with high uptime and performance, utilizing quality assurance methods in validation and deployment to ensure safe changes in production
  • Debugging and understanding distributed systems, backend services, and data systems
